🕯️IFS and Support System

In IFS, a support system isn’t only external — it’s internal too. It’s the web of relationships both outside and within that remind each part it doesn’t have to face life alone.
A protector may insist, We can’t trust anyone.
An exile may ache for connection but fear rejection.
A caretaker part may give endlessly while never receiving.
IFS widens the lens:
“Who in me allows support?”
“Who in me resists it — and why?”
When Self leads, connection becomes safer. Parts that once isolated begin to reach outward again, and external relationships grow richer because the inner ones are healing.
In IFS, a support system is more than people — it’s presence. It’s knowing that inside and out, you are held.
