- Everything IFS

Somatic IFS brings the body directly into the healing process. Instead of only talking about parts, it invites you to feel them — through tension, warmth, breath, or movement. The body becomes a map of the inner system.
A clenched jaw may belong to a protector guarding against anger.
A fluttering chest may signal an exile who once panicked alone.
The sensations themselves are how parts speak.
Somatic IFS doesn’t force release; it listens. With permission, you can place a hand where a part lives, breathe with it, or let a movement or sound emerge. When the body is welcomed as part of the conversation, the system feels seen on every level — not just mental, but cellular.
This approach honors that trauma lives in muscle and fascia as much as memory.
When Self meets the body with compassion, healing becomes full-bodied too — not only understanding, but felt safety, from the inside out.
