Al-Qadīr (ٱلْقَدِيرُ)The All-Powerful, The Omnipotent, The One Who Has Perfect Power Over All Things
Pronounced: al-Qa-DEER Root: ق-د-ر (Q-D-R), to be able, to measure, to decree, to determine precisely.
Original Invocation (Arabic Calligraphy):ٱلْقَدِيرُ
Sacred Reflection
Al-Qadīr is the Power that lacks nothing.
The Hand that holds every outcome.
The Force behind every unfolding.
He is not just powerful. He is all Power.
But this Power is not reckless.
It is not domination
It is precision.
It is mercy wrapped in might.
In Sufi knowing, Al-Qadīr is the One
whose will cannot be resisted,
yet whose decree is always exact, measured not only by justice,
but by tenderness.
He doesn’t just move mountains.
He aligns atoms.
He orchestrates the unseen
with such mastery
that even your detours
become doorways.
And when you feel powerless,
when your strength runs out,
when your path disappears, this Name rises like a sunrise over rubble:
I still can.
Al-Qadīr does not wait for your plan.
He moves according to Divine wisdom, and nothing can stop what He has willed.
This is not permission to surrender into despair.
It is invitation
to rest in something stronger than control.
Because Al-Qadīr is not just the One who can.
He is the One who knows when.
And nothing, nothing, is beyond His reach.
Parts Work Invitation
What part of you feels helpless?
The one that says,
“I’ve tried everything…”
“It’s never going to change…”
“There’s nothing left I can do…”
Let that part hear the Name: Al-Qadīr.
Let it feel what it’s like
to no longer bear the weight of outcomes.
Let it know:
“You were never meant to carry this alone.
You are not the Source.
You are not the Power.
You are the one being held by it.”
Let this part breathe again.
Let it rest in the arms of a Love
that does not need your strength
to make miracles.
Let it hear:
“I am still able.
Even here.
Especially here.
Where you’ve run out, I begin.”
There is nothing too ruined.
Nothing too far gone.
No situation beyond the reach
of Al-Qadīr’s decree.
Let this part release its grip.
Not into collapse, but into confidence.
Because the One who holds all Power
also holds you.
