Sacred Reflection

Ar-Razzāq is not just the Provider.

He is the One who knows what you need

before you even name it.

He does not ask, “Have you earned this?”

He asks, “Are you breathing?”

If so, you are already being fed.

In Sufi understanding, Ar-Razzāq is not only the Provider of food and money,

but the Giver of unseen provisions:

the right word at the right moment,

the friend who held your shaking hand,

the strength you found inside when you thought you would fall.

Provision is not always what you expect.

Sometimes it comes as an ache,

so you will finally kneel.

Sometimes it comes as silence,

so you will learn to listen.

But always,

it comes.

Ar-Razzāq does not delay out of cruelty.

He times your nourishment

your becoming.

He is the pulse that keeps you from starving,

in body,

in spirit,

in hope.

And when you think,

“I’ve run out,”

He is already preparing

what comes next.

and I feed what I form.

Let this part soften into trust.

Not trust in outcomes,

but trust in Presence.

Provision will come.

In its form.

In its time.

But you, my love,

will not be abandoned.
