Al-Awwal is the One before all beginnings.

The One who existed

when there was no time to speak of,

no space to hold shape,

no breath to carry names.

He is not the first in a sequence.

He is before the concept of sequence.

In Sufi knowing, Al-Awwal is the Eternal Origin, the root beneath all roots,

the silence before every word,

the unseen Source

rom which all being flows.

You are not the start of your own story.Y

our life does not begin in the moment of birth.

It begins in Him.

In the sacred knowing

that preceded your form,your name,

your ache.

This Name is a return.

It is the reminder

that before your trauma,

before your striving,

before the world told you who you had to be,

you already were,and you were held.

Al-Awwal is the holy memory beneath your forgetfulness.

The Love that remembered you

before you even had a face.

When you feel disoriented,

disconnected,

lost in the spiral of identity or pain,

this Name gathers you back.

It says:“Come.

You began in Me.

And I have not let go.”
