Al-Muʿizz (ٱلْمُعِزُّ)

The Honourer, The Giver of Dignity, The Bestower of Glory

Pronounced: al-Mu-‘IZZRoot: ع-ز-ز (‘A-Z-Z) — to be strong, honored, held in esteem

Original Invocation (Arabic Calligraphy):ٱلْمُعِزُّ

Sacred Reflection

Al-Muʿizz is the One who honors you from the inside out.

Not through applause.

Not through titles.

Not through achievement.

But by restoring the crown that was always yours,

the one shame made you forget.

In Sufi knowing, Al-Muʿizz is not concerned with worldly status.

He raises the hidden ones, the broken ones,

the ones who were laughed at,

cast out,

never invited to the table.

And to them He says:

Come.Sit beside Me.

You are Mine.

And I delight in making you radiant again.

This is the Name that does not give you a throne,

but gives you selfhood.

Not for power.

But for remembrance.

He honors you not for what you have done,

but because of what He placed inside you

when you were formed in light.

He does not flatter.

He restores.

Parts Work Invitation

What part of you believes it is unworthy of respect?

The one that slouches in rooms,

apologizes for existing,

lowers its voice so it won’t be seen.

Let that part be met now by Al-Muʿizz.

Let it feel the sacred touch of a God

who does not humiliate.

He lifts.

He adorns.

He whispers:

You forgot your name.

Let Me give it back to you.

Let this part know:

You are not invisible.

You are not broken.

You are beloved and noble

in the eyes of the One who truly sees.

You do not have to earn honor.

You were made from it.

And now,

you are being called back to it.
