A serene mountain rising above an autumn forest and calm river, with golden and amber trees reflecting in still water, symbolizing purity, sanctity, and sacred presence.

Al-Quddus (ٱلْقُدُّوسُ) The Most Holy, The All-Pure, The Perfect Pronounced: al-Qud-DOOS Root: ق-د-س (Q-D-S) — to be sacred, pure, set apart, sanctified.

Original Invocation (Arabic Calligraphy): ٱلْقُدُّوسُ

Sacred Reflection

Al-Quddus is the Name that silences.

Not because it commands fear

but because it is too beautiful for noise.

This is the Name that lives untouched.

Uncorrupted.

It has never been stained.

Al-Quddus is not holy like a rulebook.

Not holiness as moral superiority.

Not “clean” as in sanitized or sterile.

This is holiness as essence.

As radiance.

As the unreachable untouchedness

that makes your chest tremble just standing near.

In Sufi understanding, Al-Quddus is the inner sanctum of the Divine.

The flame that never flickered.

The core that remained unmoved

no matter how wild the world became.

It is the space beyond distortion.

Beyond history.

Beyond trauma.

It is where nothing broken ever entered.

And here’s the mystery…

Some part of you comes from this.

No matter what has happened to your body,

your mind,

your lineage,

your shame,

the I at your center was never touched by any of it.

Al-Quddus is the echo of that original untouchedness in you.

The still-clear part.

The unhurt core.

The place no hand ever reached.

Parts Work Invitation

What part of you believes it’s been made unclean by what you’ve lived through?

The part that carries shame in the bones,

that feels too broken to be spiritual,

too tainted to be welcomed by holiness?

Let it come near this Name…

not to be scrubbed,

not to be changed but to remember that it was never touched.

Al-Quddus does not fix you.

He reveals the part of you that was never harmed.

You are not dirty.

You are not ruined.

You are not too far gone.

You come from the Holy.

You return to the Holy.

And in truth…you still are the Holy.
