Al-Wāḥid (ٱلْوَاحِدُ)The One, The Indivisible, The Absolute Unity

Pronounced: al-WĀ-ḥid Root: و-ح-د (W-Ḥ-D), to be one, single, unified

Original Invocation (Arabic Calligraphy):ٱلْوَاحِدُ

Sacred Reflection

Al-Wāḥid is not one among many.

He is One without second.

Not a number.

Not a position.

But the very truth behind all multiplicity.

The silent core behind the noise of ten thousand things.

In Sufi cosmology, Al-Wāḥid is the pulse beneath duality, the flame that remains even when the forms flicker and fall.

He is not the “best” or “greatest” among gods.

He is the only.

Unbreakable.

Unchanging

.Unshared.

And yet.

He is also the secret within every soul.

Your parts may be many,

but the One who holds them is undivided.

Your thoughts may clash,

your feelings may pull in all directions,

but at your center, there is One flame.

One essence.

One truth.

To remember Al-Wāḥidis to remember you are not the chaos.

You are the one who watches.

You are not fragmented.

You are whole.

Parts Work Invitation

What part of you feels split inside?

The one caught between decisions, or identities, or unbearable contradictions.

The part that says:

“I don’t know who I am.”

“I feel torn in pieces.”

“I want too many things.”

Let that part be held in the presence of Al-Wāḥid.

Let it feel:

“There is a Stillness beneath your storm.

There is a Unity holding your many selves.

You don’t have to choose between them.

You only have to return to the One who holds them all.”

Let this part exhale.

Let it stop trying to make everything make sense.

Let it trust that even in its confusion,

even in its multiplicity,

it is already being held

by a wholeness that cannot break.

You are not lost among your voices.

You are the One who hears them.

And the One who is never many.
