✨ Welcome to Sigil Magic

Come in, and bring a pen. Of all the branches of the craft, this one asks the least and delivers among the most: sigil magic is the art of folding a desire into a small drawn symbol, bringing that symbol to life, and sending it to work, and its entire toolkit is a pen, some paper, and the willingness to look honestly at what you want. No supplies to buy, no lineage to join, no experience required. People have been working this magic at kitchen tables for a century in its modern form, and its ancestors go back to seals pressed into clay when writing itself was young. By the end of this course, you will be one of them, fluently.

What This Course Is

This is a complete education in the made mark, and the only sigil course you will ever need, built on one promise kept in every single lesson: you will learn all about it, and you will learn to actually do it. Every lesson teaches the ideas in plain English, defines every term the first time it appears, and assumes you have never heard any of this before, and then every lesson puts the pen in your hand, with numbered steps, words to say until your own arrive, honest answers to the questions real beginners actually have, and a practice at the end you can do with the screen still open. Total beginners can follow every page. Practitioners with years behind them will still find rooms here they have never been shown, because this course teaches the whole territory: not just the famous modern method, but the elegant older instruments, the marks that live in daily life, the workings built to stand for years, and the strange, wonderful branch where a working becomes a story you live inside.

What You Will Need

A pen or pencil, paper, and one notebook, any notebook, a dollar-store spiral pad included, which the course calls your Sigil Workbook. The Workbook matters more than it looks; it gathers something across these lessons, page by named page, and what it becomes is one of the course's best secrets, kept until the very end. Everything else ever mentioned, candles, nicer paper, a ruler, comes with substitutions and a standing rule: it is always okay if you do not have the thing.

How to Walk It

Take the lessons in order the first time through; they build on one another by design, and several of them plant small seeds that later lessons return to harvest. Do the practices, because the practices are where the craft actually enters your hands, and they were built to be genuinely enjoyable rather than homework. Move at whatever pace your life allows, a lesson a week being a lovely rhythm and no rhythm being wrong. And write in your Workbook by hand where you can, since the hand is this craft's native instrument, though nothing is lost for the practitioner who must work digitally.

Begin

The whole road is laid out just below, fifteen lessons from first mark to a language all your own, and the first step is the smallest one in all of magic: a pen picked up, a page opened. Somewhere near the end of this course, you will look back at this welcome as a different practitioner than the one reading it now, holding a language only you speak and a book you built yourself, and the distance between those two people is simply these lessons, walked in order, practiced by hand. So begin. The first lesson is waiting, and it starts, as this craft always has, with a scrap of paper and a symbol nobody else on earth can read.

Who Writes Our Courses

Our free courses are a beautiful human-AI collaboration, roughly 50% human and 50% AI. These courses are definitely not someone typing a single prompt and publishing whatever comes out.

We do not use a free or entry-level AI. We invest in one of the most advanced professional-tier AI models available, because the depth and accuracy of the writing at this level is in a different league from what most people experience with low-cost AI.

While AI models arrive with extensive training across these topics, we never rely on that alone. Before drafting a single lesson, the AI performs in-depth research on that specific topic, pulling from resources written by qualified experts in the field: published books, clinical resources, and articles from practitioners with relevant credentials. Every draft is grounded in that expert-created material, not generated from thin air.

With that said, whether something is written entirely by humans, entirely by AI, or by the two working together, errors can occur in anything. We encourage readers to verify information and consult a qualified professional in the relevant area wherever appropriate.

For those who would like more specifics, here is our six-step process:

1. Humans design the courses and set the teaching standards and outlines

2. Humans shape the arc of each lesson

3. AI conducts deep, highly specific research on each individual lesson topic before drafting the lesson

4. Humans review, direct, and run multiple edits alongside AI

5. Humans approves every lesson before it's published

6. Each finished course then goes to ElevenLabs, where it's recorded by one of their AI voices
