Welcome to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Course for Everyday People

EFT, known to most of the world simply as tapping, was created in the mid-1990s by the late Gary Craig (1940–2026), a Stanford-trained engineer who simplified an elaborate clinical method into something anyone could learn, and then did something almost unheard of: he gave it away, releasing his manual as a free download for the whole world. That single act of generosity helped tapping spread to every continent, gather a growing research base, and become one of the most widely used self-help methods on earth. Its central idea is simple and bold: emotional distress can be eased, often surprisingly quickly, by combining focused attention on a problem with gentle fingertip tapping on a set of points on the body.

This course teaches pure EFT, with no other modalities blended in. It's written in plain, emotionally relatable language anyone can follow, whether you work in the field or have never set foot in a therapy room. It isn't clinical training for therapists; it's EFT you can put to use in your own life. Each module offers clear teaching, real-life examples, and the practical tools, techniques, and strategies EFT is known for, and every lesson ends with a simple practice so you can begin using the skill right away.

This course is self-paced, with no tests, exams, or homework. Feel free to go through it in order, or jump around to whatever interests you most.
